For convenience sake, many users tend to store or save their log in name and password in some websites, email account, forum, etc with their browser in the sign-on database file in encrypted format. With the stored username and password, users can speed up the log in process without having to type in again. Storing log in username and password in the browser generally poses quite high security risk to users. Essential data or info might be leaked out under some circumstances, for instance, when laptops get stolen, sharing the same computer, etc. Users might also have forgotten their own log in name and password stored in the event their browser for some reasons stops working, etc. If users are using the Firefox browser, they can easily decrypt their user name and password stored in the browser via a tiny tool, namely FirePasswordViewer.FirePasswordViewer is the GUI version of popular FirePassword tool designed to decrypt sign-on username and password stored by Firefox. This application is a tiny executable program which will show the list of usernames and passwords stored by the Firefox browser. Since WordPress 2.3, WordPress Dashboard provides an Incoming Links widget that ables to display backlinks that have been received by the blog, i.e. inbound links that point from external blogs and bring link juice (aka Google PageRank) to the linked blog. WordPress has been using Google Blog Search as the search engine to provide such information on incoming links.The Incoming Links widget box on WordPress Dashboard allows blogger to customize and configure the number of inbound links items that user want to display in the Dashboard. However, with the default configuration of Google Blog Search Incoming Links RSS feed URL, it’s impossible to increase the number of incoming links displayed (cannot make the number of incoming links displayed to more than 10 (ten)).
The cause for the WordPress Incoming Links widget maximum number of items error is because the default Google Blog Search RSS feed limits the maximum backlinks returned by Google to 10. And WordPress does not cache the older incoming links that have previously been received by it, making the Dashboard only has a maximum of 10 inbound links to display at any time.
To fix problem cannot or unable to increase number of incoming links displayed on WordPress Dashboard, just increase the number of back links returned by Google Blog Search RSS feed. To do so, hover the mouse over the Incoming Links widget pane, and click on Configure that appears. Edit the existing RSS feed URL to change the number of items from 10 to 20, or any number you like. However, value greater than 20 is not meaningful as widget can only display maximum of 20 incoming links.
Adjust also the value of number of items you would like to display from the pull down list. Click Submit when done. Voice, now more than 10 incoming links can be shown on Dashboard.

Comodo has merged its antivirus program with Firewall Pro, creating a free security program that aims to be more to more people. Although this may frustrate some users who want only one program or the other, the installer does let you opt out of either of the components.

Resource management is better than before, with hogging all but eliminated. It provides a smorgasbord of information and options for advanced users, but it's simple enough for beginners, and runs smoothly and silently in the background. The version 3 interface utilizes a plain white color scheme and replaces old terminology with more intuitive terms such as Summary, Firewall, Defense, and Miscellaneous. In each, there are links to relevant security issues so users can drill down to learn more about how the firewall is performing. The firewall rears its head most often when Security Alerts ask about new Internet connections as the program "learns" your computer's behavior.

Shield-shaped buttons at the top facilitate switching between the antivirus and firewall modules, as well as a summary tab that provides a general overview. Users can toggle automatic scans of archives or downloads, scans on start-up, manage the quarantine, and schedule scans and definition file updates through a clean and comprehensible list of links. The definition file update crashed during its first use, but was stable thereafter. Scans completed at a reasonable speed, but were not blazingly fast.

A third pane, Defense, provides more-advanced security options including locking down specific files from modification, perusing an active processes list, and protecting specific Registry keys. Starting in September, notebooks and Netbooks with Splashtop will have instant access to a search bar on the instant-on desktop, Splashtop maker DeviceVM is planning to announce Thursday. In the U.S. and Japan, the default search engine will be Yahoo; in China, Baidu; and in Russia, Yandex.
"Instant on" is essentially a "pre-boot" environment that allows users to get a PC up and running in seconds instead of the minutes it takes to power up and launch a browser with a standard full-featured operating system. DeviceVM makes Splashtop available to hardware manufacturers that embed it in a computer's BIOS. Current customers include Asus, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo,Sony, Acer, and LG. c rrently, Splashtop users can get quick access to a dashboard of predetermined local and Web-based apps, but the appeal of instant-on is to get you online quickly. So there are apps like Skype, a Mozilla browser (not Firefox), links to online photo services, and streaming music sites. When the search bar is added in September, it takes one more step out of the process of launching the browser from Splashtop.
The search bar can be customized--if you prefer Google or Bing, you can set that up too--but deals with Yahoo, Baidu, and Yandex include a revenue-sharing agreements with the Splashtop maker, though DeviceVM would not provide details of the arrangement.

If you set the width of your design to be 720 pixels wide, it will always be 720 pixels. If you then want a branding image spanning the top of your design, you know it needs to be 720 pixels wide to fit. Knowing the exact width of each element allows you to lay them out precisely and know where everything will be. This predictability makes fixed-width layout by far the most common layout method around the style sheets.

With flash memory, only the NOR type is capable of true random access, allowing direct code execution, and is therefore often used instead of ROM; the lower cost NAND type is commonly used for bulk storage in memory cards and solid-state drives.
Similar to a microprocessor, a memory chip is an integrated circuit (IC) made of millions of transistors and capacitors. In the most common form of computer memory, dynamic random access memory (DRAM), a transistor and a capacitor are paired to create a memory cell, which represents a single bit of data. The capacitor holds the bit of information -- a 0 or a 1 . The transistor acts as a switch that lets the control circuitry on the memory chip read the capacitor or change its state.

The Memory Spot chip is an integrated circuit currently in development by Hewlett-Packard. The chip incorporates a central processing unit, random access memory and a wireless receiver, all bundled together in a device 1.4 or 2 mm.
The research done to design and build the chip was done in Hewlett-Packard's laboratory in Bristol.
Hewlett-Packard says that the chip is so small that it can be built into almost any object, and have proposed several possible uses. These include, but are not limited to:
